Good morning anglers. Well November was a good fishing month. We didn't have many charters but every charter had bill fish. The Rodgers party out of Pittsburg fished 5 days on the Crazy Dog and had a total of 18 sailfish and 11 marlin also had 26 dorado and 6 wahoo. The three Stone brothers from Miami fished three days on the Bad Dog and ended up with 14 sailfish and 5 marlin and also with a lot of dorado. The fish are a little further off shore and we have to run 40 to 50 miles out, we loose a few hours of fishing time but once we get there we find plenty of fish. The bottom fishing is also very good plenty of large grouper and snapper. Three of our boats went bottom fishing one day and brought back 118 grouper most of them were 8 to 10 pounds 15 were over 20 pounds and the largest was 28 lbs. Inshore fishing was supper. We had roosters on every rock and the catalina island was loaded with wahoo almost every day you could fish the catalinas and come back with 5 to 10 wahoo. Let's hope the fishing stays good all during December. Thank you and I will be back soon. Fred
Good afternoon every one, Here it is October 5th already, this is our rainy month but we have had no rain for the past week. The fishing is still good but few anglers. Yesterday, Sunday the fourth Freddy and his friend Dan from Belgium fished half a day on the Good Dog. They stopped 5 miles off shore at the Catalina Island and boated 9 large wahoo all in the 30 to 40 lb range trolled about a mile west and released two sailfish and on the way in boated two dorado. Bad Dog with the Cochran group from Philadelphia fished off shore Saturday and Sunday and had a total of 17 sailfish 2 blue marlin and six large dorado. The water is clean and the fish are in close if the weather stays mild we should have good fishing all month.Thank you. Fred

Hello anglers, well this August proved to be a pretty good month for bill fish, not as good as years past when every boat fishing had at least 20 or more sailfish releases. OK this month started out on Aug 1 with the Seigel party from Ft.Worth, TX fishing off shore on the Wild Dog with 11 sailfish releases for 18 hook ups also 4 large dorado and one 25 lb wahoo. Same day Crazy Dog had 4 sails and two marlin and three dorado. On Aug. 2 the Seigel party fished inshore for 3 rooster fish to 60 lbs, three wahoo and 26 grouper 5 to 10 lbs. On Aug 4,5,7 and 9 John Wentz and friend Bruce from Quakertown, PA released 18 sails and 7 marlin and brought in 12 dorado and 6 wahoo. The boys said the had four great days fishing and will be back. On Aug. 15 and 16 the Gonzalez group from MIami fished three boats Crazy Dog, Good Dog and Wild Dog and for the two days released 37 sails and 11 marlin. This was the fishing all month, every boat going out had at least 4 sails and 1 or 2 marlin. If you want bill fish now is the time to get here. I will keep you posted in a day or two to see how long this run will last. Thank you. Fred
Good morning readers, Our rain season has started and the weather has cooled down. Good fishing but few anglers. Our boats have released several 800 + marlin durning the past few weeks and also several smaller ones. The sailfish bite is fairly good 4 to 6 sails per charter and not to far off shore. Good inshore fishing with roosters and very good bottom fishing for snapper and grouper. If you want that big one come on down now is the time. Thank you. Fred
Good morning everyone. Well here it is June already and the fish are here. not many anglers but plenty of fish. all boats going off shore can raise 7 to 10 sailfish along with some marlin. Last week Bad Dog released 3 marlin the largest about 750 lbs. Wild Dog had 22 sailfish and 4 marlin releases for 4 days fishing. We are still getting some large dorado 50- 55 lbs. . Bottom fishing is fairly good Good Dog came back yesterday with 36 grouper all in the 5 to 10 lb range with 3 large ones to 28 lbs, also some nice snapper. Inshore the rooster fishing is still good you can always expect 4 or 5 big roosters when using live bait. Thank you again. Fred
Good morning anglers. I am finally back again with fishing reports. So far this month fishing looks pretty good. some sailfish but a lot of marlin. Every charter we have had in May hooked up at least one marlin we also have had a lot of big dorado, you can see some of their pictures on our gallery # 1. Bottom fishing is also good a lot of groupper and snapper. We expect the sailfishing to be very good this year, a lot of sailfish are located a little south of us and the bait fish are starting to move up and the sails will fallow. Thank you. Fred
Our Flamingo season is starting up, so I will try to give you more reports. April was only fair for bill fish but they are starting to show up more in the past two weeks. Yesterday Scorpion had 4 releases for 8 hook ups and Friday Good Dog had 3 sails and 1 marlin and Bad Dog had 5 sails. Last week all boats did good on tuna fish, all in the 30 to 50 lb range. See gallery 1 for latest pictures. We are going to advertize some package prices this year. If you are interested here they are.

Good morning fishermen. I have been down to Puntahenas the past two weeks. We had to take the Scorpion out of the water and that is the only place with a lift large enough. When I arrived yesterday I talked to all our captains, and they all had good fishing reports. All boats are raising 5 to 10 sails a day and yesterday Good Dog had 15 sails and a marlin. All boats are hooking up at least one marlin on every charter and are also doining good with dorado. All our boats are here in Flamingo and as in the past our best sailfish season is June,July and August so it looks like we are off to a good start this season. Thank you. Fred
Good morning you all. Fishing has not been great the past two weeks Quepos was very slow with none or one sail fish per day, however the clean water moved in two days ago and our boat Crazy Dog had seven sail releases yesterday using live bait. Carrillo is also a little slow with one or two sails a day and perhaps a marlin. Cold and dirty water in Flamingo turned off the fish. Yesterday the water improved and there was a little action with both sails and marlin. Thank you. Fred
Good afternoon fishermen. Everything still looks good Good Dog and all other boats out of Flamingo are releasing one or more marlin every trip plus plenty of dorado. Yesterday in Carrillo our boat Bad Dog released 4 marlin with 8 hook ups plus a lot of dorado. The largest marlin was 600 plus lbs. This marlin run from Carrillo north to Flamingo will probably continue for another 4 to 6 weeks, so now is the time to make your reservations if you want to catch a big one.In Quepos the sailfishing is still pretty good, 4 to 6 sails released per boat per day, no marlin but the in shore fishing is good. I will be back soon Thank you. Fred
Hi everyone, This is a great saturday aternoon. I have not heard a report yet today but, yesterday Capt Dan here in Flamingo released two blue marlin, a sail and boated 6 big dorado. Capt. Warren in Carrillo on Bad Dog released a Blue and striped marlin and a sail yesterday also with a lot of large dorado. In Quepos Crazy Dog 6 for 7 sails yesterday and Mad Dog had 5 sails both boats had a lot of big dorado. Now is the time to be here. hank you. Fred
The fishing is as good as it gets along the entire west coast. All boats here in Flamingo are catching 4 to 7 sailfish per day along with a few marlin.South in Carrillo it's the same 7 to 10 sailfish per day and also some marlin with no wind just beautiful weather. Further south in Quepos the bite is starting to get hot all boats are picking up 3 to 4 sailfish per day but not much marlin action. If your bag is billfish now is the time to come to Costa Rica. Talk to you soon. Fred.
